If you purchase products from the site we will collect and retain personal information including your name, telephone number and address. we will not disclose this information to any individual or company other than those who require the information to process your order. you have the right under the Privacy Act 1993 to access any personal information held about you and to correct or delete such information from our database.

we may at our discretion, modify any of the material contained on this website, including these terms and conditions, without prior notice. continued use or the placing of an order by the customer after a notification is made constitutes acceptance by the customer of the modifications.

 

price and payment:

the price of the item is stated in the quotation sent out, should this not work within your budget, please discuss this with me and we can always review the order to adjust the items and work within your individual budget

a deposit of 50% is required to be paid to confirm the order, this is requested as soon as possible as dates do fill up and the order cannot be placed in our diary until the deposit is received, we therefore may be unable to assist at a later stage if other confirmed booking have come in for that requested date.

remaining balances will need to be paid 14 days prior to delivery. should this not be received, we will send a reminder email but will not be able to begin the item until we have received this.

any urgent orders which we can assist with, ordered within the 14 days prior to the due date, will need to be paid in full to confirm the order.

 

cancellation of agreement and deposit:

once the deposit has been paid, the order can be cancelled by either party in writing or by email subject to the matters set out here

if the country cakery cancels the order, the deposit paid at the time of cancellation will be repaid to the client within 5 days of cancellation and no further sum or compensation will be payable to the client by the country cakery arising from such cancellation.

cancellations more then 14 days prior to the delivery - deposit shall be refunded to you with no charges.

cancellations less then 14 days before the order - deposits shall be held for future orders for up to 6 months.

cancellations less then 48 hours prior to the agreed delivery date will not have any value of their deposit or any monies paid refunded

changes of date will need to be received in writing no later that 14 days prior to the event

changes to the cake need to be received in writing no later than 14 days prior to the event

 

images:

whilst we will try our utmost to recreate the image sent to us, there may be some differences to the cake provided compared from the image sent.

by agreeing to the quotation you agree to images of the cake being used for advertising, should you forward us a picture of the event we will always confirm with you prior to using the photo if you are happy with us doing so.

 

complaints:

Please communicate any concerns on delivery,

all of our cakes do include free delivery within Queenstown, with an additional charge for any deliveries outside of Queenstown.

We do prefer to deliver cakes to ensure that they arrive safely and you do not need to be concerned about transporting the cake, especially for tiered cakes, should you however prefer to collect your cake order, please note that we do not take responsibility for anything that may occur after the cake is handed over, the same applies to the time after delivery of the cake.

I will endeavor to deliver your goods at the time discussed, however normally this is communicated as an approximate time and I do apologise if we are late due to traffic or delays during our travels to you.

food allergies:

please ensure that any food allergies are communicated on ordering, whilst none of our products contain peanuts (as my daughter is allergic) there are nuts, eggs, dairy and gluten kept and used on site and used on site.

should there be a serious allergy to an ingredient please confirm on ordering and we will ensure that no other orders come into contact with that item whilst being prepared and transported.
