I a​m nadine, the owner and baker of the country cake and this is my family - my partner chris, our daughters keira and shayla 

I have a passion for creating delicious cakes and dessert, which I feel has come partly from my mom who baked professionally during my childhood and the amazing days I spent with her in the kitchen. my partner, who is a chef and loves really good food, and my love for being in the kitchen and seeing those smiles when the baking is done and we are sitting around the table laughing and sharing stories.

starting the country cakery in Dunedin was one of the most amazing and exciting experience, we then relocated to Queenstown in January 2022 and after taking a few months to get our family settled I am so happy to be back doing my passion.
